Anxiety, also known as “nervousness” or “bad nerves” is your body’s response to stress. Anxiety is a normal and healthy emotion, but it can be problematic when it begins to interfere with your day-to-day functioning. There are different types of anxiety including social anxiety, panic disorders, phobias, and generalized anxiety.
